VP of Social Media
With over five years of experience in the social media trenches, Katie has mastered the art of social media marketing for both B2B and B2C clients. Prior to joining the Marketing Zen team, Katie managed social media campaigns for brands across an array of industries.
Where do you wish you could move your virtual office to?I’d set up an office in a comfortable RV and travel the world. Of course I’d need a driver, so let me know if you’re interested and we can set up an interview.
What social media channel do you personally use the most?I created an Instagram channel for my dog (yes, I’m one of those people). I update it more than any of my personal channels. You can join in on the fun by following him – @Bobo_the_husky
Today, Katie leads a talented team consisting of strategists, designers, content creators, and tacticians. They spend their days creating new social media campaigns, managing and updating social media platforms, and leveraging the latest emerging trends for clients.
Instagram. It’s 100% visual and forces you to tell a story.
Although she professes a love-hate relationship with Digital Advertising over the years, her expertise on platforms across the board has helped clients consistently grow their digital footprint.
What personally makes you unique among others in the industry?I’m very good at putting myself in the audience’s shoes. To succeed as a brand on social media you need to cater to your audience’s personality, interests, hobbies, daily life – I’d consider myself an expert at researching a client’s target audience and creating a strategy based on our findings.
What personality/celebrity/influencer would you most like to have dinner with?
Mark Zuckerberg. I want to hear his story straight from him and no one else. Plus, I think our dogs would get along well.
When not creating and implementing digital marketing strategies, you can find her increasing the digital footprint of her Siberian Husky on Instagram
