Francisco is an experienced educator, speaker, and marketing executive with a background in developing, implementing, and directing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies. Leveraging his 15+ years of experience as a Director of Operations and Logistics, Director of Marketing, Social Media Administrator, and Social Media Agency Owner, Francisco leads the MZ social team to build deliver tailored social media and influencer marketing solutions that meet individual business needs. From building brand social media strategies, to crafting just the right post for a social ad campaign, Francisco is passionate about bringing the social back in social media. He is devoted to building relationships the old-fashioned way – by listening, caring, and putting in the time to build lasting relationships.

As Vice President of Social Media, he leads the charge of attracting attention to MZ’s clients’ products and services, helping strangers easily become consumers (of great content), then keeps them engaged and informed until they are ready to make a purchasing decision. Francisco attracts, informs, connects and adds value to clients’ real and potential customers. He ensures the social amplification of the clients’ great products and services is top-notch, and lets the amplification do the converting.

As Vice President of Influencer Marketing, Francisco focus on using key leaders to drive brand messaging to the larger market by helping brands locate and communicate with relevant influencers who already have a brand’s target demographics attention and trust. Leverage this attention and trust, Francisco helps brand’s secure agreements with industry influencers to promote their products and service in an organic way. This approach is highly effective as it hacks growth, reach, and ultimately drives sales.

Francisco holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from National University.

What is your favorite social media platform, and why?

Twitter. It allows you to jump into conversations without being perceived as spammy. Twitter is like a cocktail party, and facilitates speedy back and forth conversations in written form unlike any other social platform. Lastly, Twitter advanced search function allows you to do what matters most in social – listen. I cannot tell you how many relevant, lasting relationships I have built on the back of Twitter advanced search! Fun fact: Twitter is why I am working at MZ.


What personality/celebrity/influencer would you most like to have dinner with?

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a HUGE fan of our fearless leader, Shama. She is a pioneer of modern day marketing and is someone I’m sure I will always look up to. I take her up on every dinner opportunity to pick her brain on the future of digital marketing.

Ryan Holiday – His book “Growth Hacker Marketing” is epic and has influenced me in big ways.

Scott Harrison – I am inspired by his heart and would like insight into being a more caring and generous person. He is on another level.

Seth Godin– I respect him, admirably. I would like to get more insight on his blog and why he writes each piece as if it was his last.

Grant Cardone – Popular or not, I can’t deny he inspires me. He also uses Instagram Stories in a way that resonates – storytelling his message.
